I think it's the only one, too. According to Wikipedia, it's ranked 71st, which is a nice way of saying it's just another second-rate school. Even so, I'm sure there are some very bright people who went there because their families are Mormon or something. But in terms of being academically rigorous, somehow I doubt that a school run by people who think Jesus and Satan were brothers and that there were Jews in ancient America with cows and horses and iron implements, is going to be a very "academically rigorous" school.


I don't think much of their religious beliefs, but I don't know Mormons very well. The few I cross paths with were on mission here. We have this impression here that they put a lot of stock in academia, but we don't know much.

We'll probably have to get used to this. Poor writing or approximate vocabulary, grammar and syntax are more and more widespread. There was a good article from a French linguist on these issues a few months back.
