Re: There is no female Dragon. The Dragon soul is male. However, other souls can fill the role. Dunstan Send a noteboard - 28/01/2013 01:39:36 AM
The female soul that can replace the Dragon soul as Champion of the Light at times is Amaresu (who wields the sword of the sun).

Oh I doubt it's called "Dragon"(as is the reason I said "female Dragon";), after all I rather doubt the Lord Dragon is called "the Lord Dragon" in most ages), but like you said, RJ said that souls don't change gender, and also that the Pattern would weave out a female into the role of "Dragon" if it needed to, so those two things equal there being a "female Dragon".

That being said, where you get the name "Amaresu"?

I'm pretty sure Nakomi was sanderson's creation, not RJ's *NM* ImmanuelXavier - 26/01/2013 09:41:02 PM 1571 Views

I just read an old RJ quote about the Creator's involvement. Can you tell me what you think, DomA? ImmanuelXavier - 29/01/2013 01:40:46 AM 2159 Views

Not sure I agree on what Rand's new power is, but... Dunstan - 27/01/2013 05:14:23 PM 2603 Views

There is no female Dragon. The Dragon soul is male. However, other souls can fill the role. Ghavrel - 28/01/2013 01:04:00 AM 1821 Views
No, other souls can't fill the role; it's always the same soul, i.e. Rand/LTT *NM* ImmanuelXavier - 28/01/2013 01:34:52 AM 906 Views
We do not know that, and the Q&As are very vague on it. Ghavrel - 29/01/2013 08:49:02 AM 1673 Views
That quote just seems to reinforce what I said, not refute it. *NM* ImmanuelXavier - 29/01/2013 04:17:58 PM 847 Views

Amaresu is a hero of the horn, whom RJ almost certainly based off the goddess Amaterasu. *NM* Ghavrel - 29/01/2013 08:48:26 AM 1271 Views
