What's wrong with contemporary English? *NM* Nargs Send a noteboard - 30/01/2013 02:46:46 AM
This book seems to jar even more against the rest of the series than, tGS or ToM.

The outright use of american english in general speech from almost every character.

Elayne even lapses into valley speak from time to time.

Androl and Pevara - Jaysus!! could you have a worse storyline?? Give me Danerys Targaryen arseing around a dessert for 4000 pages ahead of that!

Oh no...Androhls in trouble.... oh it's okay he had a job as a laser cutter before, he'll save the day... no need to use the power he'll just remember his time as a pickpocket....

It was like nightrider
