Well, I guess it's opinion, and you'll find a smattering of different opinions if you ask.

1. Meh. I suppose story-wise it was ok, but I think Brandon did a terrible job.

2. Not really. My guess is that the RJ-writing was very preliminary and, had he continued to live, nothing that he wrote that went into the book would have eventually been there, due to editing/rewrites.

3. Honestly? I expected to feel a much bigger impact. I've been following WoT for almost two decades now, and I really expected to feel a big punch to the gut that it was over. I think the fact that I was more or less underwhelmed by Brandon's version of AMOL undermined any emotional impact that the ending of the series would have had.

4. Probably Alivia's role. Which, based on the fact that it's so minor and dumb, says a lot about the "surprises" for me in the book.
