I appreciate the challenges B. Sanderson had writing it, but the editor/writer in me just knows how much a work can finish from the notes to the final version. It is hard for me to really reconcile the way events panned out in the last book with how R. Jordan wanted them to end up. Some of the events actually would have more of an impact by tweaking the timeline or revising the structure of the payoffs. One of Mat's last parts in the book was pretty perfunctory.
