It was going to fade into memory regardless, at this point the fear is it being forgotten A Deathwatch Guard Send a noteboard - 08/04/2013 04:18:27 AM

I'm already forgetting details of AMOL, and don't have any left over emotional connection to it. On the other hand, I still remember Rand, Mat, Perrin, Egwene, Elayne and Nynaeve and to some extent likely always will, simply because there were so many WoT books and I read them so many times that they've become something more than characters for me. WoT will always carry some nostalgia and familiarity for me, so I'll perhaps even read it or skim it at various points in my life.

But that's not something I would start a thread about here, and I don't really have too many questions or issues regarding the series. And what questions and issues I do have are about things that are so speculative that no one would be able to provide me with any new information, so it would just be a pointless exercise in guesswork, with the emphasis on work, which I'd very much like to avoid.

It will be forgotten in another 3-5 years. I second the "fold this into the Books board" sentiment. *NM* - 08/04/2013 06:36:42 PM 452 Views
Perhaps we should have a Fantasy Books board and an Other Books board..... *NM* - 09/04/2013 03:52:05 AM 498 Views
What's wrong with one board? It's not like there's much discussion going on *NM* - 09/04/2013 04:30:59 AM 383 Views
Especially not when the site is down every few hours or so. *NM* - 12/04/2013 06:21:15 PM 396 Views

I was so dissapointed with the ending that I just don't care about the series anymore. - 11/04/2013 05:13:24 PM 875 Views
