I'm not sure if we can establish if Fain had an effect on the psyche of Elaida or not. However, we can't rule it out either.


I have heard a lot of theories why Elaida has been getting so hard and dark lately. I thought it might be best to just put them out on the table and let you decide. In no particular order

a) Padan Fain's touch
b) The Dark One's touch (similar to way war of power began)
c) Ta'veren induced madness similar to what happened to Maseema
d) She has been turned to the dark side by 13 BA and 13 Myrdraal
e) Mesaana has been influencing her directly
f) The Sitters response to Elaida has brought out the worst in her
g) She has joined the BA
h) Other
