That there are probably other little knots of women like the Kin around, or that some of the women just don't want to be found again. Think about what it would mean to live that long, but not be Aes Sedai. You'd watch your husband (if you married) grow old and die right in front of your face, while you would have barely changed. I imagine that there are a lot of women that can channel who, after failing the test just lived alone in the middle of nowhere, because it was easier.

If not, I'd say that they would seek out other like-minded and skilled women, hence lots of little groups like the Kin scattered throughout Randland.

Just my thoughts.
