I remember Elayne going off at Teslyn and Joline for not recognising that she was Aes Sedai, never mind that they couldn't recognise her as such, as in doing so would mean the recognise Egwene's authority, not Elaida's.

I do think Sanderson's books will be a challenge (drawing to the end of listening to the Towers of Midnight audio), while I do like Sanderson's other books, and think his attempt at finishing the WoT was okay, there are certainly challenges with trying to determine Jordan's actual intent vs Sanderson's 'interpretations'.
