this is sort of proof that the dark one is affecting the wheel, that everyone is going crazy, we goth te implication something big happened when the world rippled, either Rands bale fire or the dark one, or something, ripped apart the pattern massively and everything fell to chaos, I have a feeling that is why everyone has such difficulty focusing in the series and only arouond Rand is it safe

that said most people say they wuld give everything to save their child, but would they? would you give your job that pays enough money to feed your family and keep your extended family safe? would you sacrifice your present and future income and food source to give your child life? perhaps some would, I would do what I could within reason... but really? people say what they do not mean all the time, and giving up everything to save a child, is one thing if you die in the process nothing to worry about afterwords you've left it all in destinies hands, in the hands of God, but if you have to live with the consequences, of being so pooor you have to steal a loaf of bread? and do this over 20 years? and what for the next child that needs it or the injurys that require healing :p

that said yes I wanted Rand to actually smack the white twoer around to knock sense into them, alas
