Really? I believe you, but can't remember specific instances.
The first time is in LoC. Rand asks her where the Rebels are located, and she's just about to blurt it out, but stops herself by embracing saidar. The nest two times, she doesn't even do that, so I don't know if it was necessary the first time.
The second time was in the Hall of the Tower, though I guess you could argue the Pattern specifically did need her to speak in opposition to Rand, so it wasn't so much her resisting his ta'veren pull (which silenced everyone else present) as much as her being positioned to be his opposition by the Pattern.
The last time is in Merrilor, when she feels all the rulers about to cave in to Rand's demands.
That said, despite her whining and "independence," here's what she did: Took care of the Black Ajah. Unified the White Tower. Gathered together all the different nations, got them in one place, and had them listen to Rand's Commandments.
So? Are you arguing she wouldn't have wanted to do these things on her own?
You know, I'm going to come right out and say it. The resurrection bit in the Companion was cheap.

My hatred for her is extremely rational, and I think her the opposite of worthless. Just not good.

Er. I think you need to meditate upon the definition of ta'veren, if you think she was "immune." *NM*
