wouldn't that affect the dagger's abilities? there is no more SL to draw its power from. and if it's still working, then what would destroy it? the countertaint on saidin that was used to destroy SL has been (presumably) completely removed.
It doesn't work that way. Evidence? Rand's wound from the dagger. Flinn thought it should be better but it's not. Therefore the instrument of that wound isn't any "better" either. It's probably just as deadly as it was before. Why is this? I don't know. I would have thought like you and Flinn but it's obvious that RJ had something else in mind. Maybe the dagger and Fain/Mordeth reinforce each other somehow.
