That moment really hooked me in. It's strange to think about it now. Seems so naive of me, not figuring out Baalzamon was killing the rats for real. But then, I'd never read darker fantasy before.

Rand ripping the crown from Colavaere.
Moiraine proclaiming they must go to the Green Man.
