I think that went on far too long.
As for Moiraine's death, I wouldn't consider that drawn out. RJ almost HAD to make it seem like she was dead, so he could say she wasn't, and surprise the people who weren't thinking clearly.
As for Asmodean, RJ just wanted us to struggle when he found out none of us knew for certain. That's not quite an arc, because he thinks all information regarding it was included.
I'm not too concerned with Demandred. He irritates me.
Mat and Tuon, I think, went on for the right ammount of time. It built up slowly enough, though.
The first time I read tEotW, I felt like it took them FOREVER to reach Baerlon. The next time I read it, I realised it only took about ten pages....Not sure why on that one, because I liked that part.

Story arcs that take forever to conclude make *some* parts of the series boring

The best love interest arc by far was Rand & Aviendha

Yeah. Elayne saw Rand for 15 minutes and was suddenly in love with him

Eh, I think it's just because he's had the least interaction with her

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. A series this big, bound to have its problems with story arc. *NM*
