Even more intensely annoying than the capture/rescue of Faile has to be the Faile/Berelain/Perrin "triangle"
Starts in TSR, and is still going now. We don't really care, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Also Padan Fain - is he being held back for some Gollum style scene at the end (i.e. he somehow helps the forces of the Lght inadvertently due to his singelminded focus on Rand), cos if not, why is he still here, why why why??
