"The great battle done, but the world not done with battle" probably refers to the battle at Tar Valon or another big battle before Tarmon Gai'don actually starts.


I read this part at face value to refer to the fact that TG won't, in fact, be the last battle, as seems to be the case given what we know of the possibility for outrigger books set after it.


Many people believe for some reason (probably because they are subconsciously reminded of the end of the King Arthur myth) that this Prophecy has to deal with a time after TG. That doesn't make much sense, though, because after TG is won, the future of the world is decided. As said, the image used in this Prophecy fits with all the other metaphores for the unstable time before TG.
