Sure it's likely!

Everyone's sure Osan'gar snuffed it from being surrounded by fire at the Cleansing. But if you compare it to what happened at the end of EoTW, when Moiraine did her worst to him, I find the similarity striking.

He's a true coward, after all. A couple of inverted wards, anyone?
