I haven't read any of the pre-release material. However, the tGS threads are pulling at me. I have started opening some of them (such as the reviews thread) and carefully looking for benign content. But I am starting to feel like someone who is trying to get a look at something that they are not supposed to see, yet reflexively looking away each time it comes into view, not really certain if they saw anything. I haven't even looked at the chapter names yet, which seems a little silly since I will look at them all when book arrives but before starting to read.

What's worse, I preordered the book and am having it shipped to me. It seems to me I did the same for the last book and it shipped early so it arrived on the date of release. However, right now the order indicates it will ship on the 27th. I ended up getting a job interview out of town for the 29th though, and I won't get back home until the 30th or 31st. So if it doesn't ship early, I'll have to wait even longer. I am startng to consider buying it for my girlfriend if that happens, and reading that copy until the other arrives.
