Random thoughts
1) Ehh - overall I thought it was brilliant, couldn't ask for much more (well bar all 3 in one)
2) The Rand arc is truly superb, jaw droppingly good as far as I'm concerned. You can almost feel the darkness leaching out from teh pages in his chapters, but his epiphany was beautiful
3) Sheriam Black ajah - that just completely threw me, didn't see that. Verin a lot less so, it was like "Huh? Oh, she must have been a spy. Duh"
4) The tower scenes, pre and post attack. Riveting, great pace to them
5) Not quite sure of the point of the Mat scenes tbh - yeah, the DO touches the world yadda yadda, strange things happen etc etc, we get it. Why waste several chapters on it?
6) I want TOM now. Please?
7) Where's Gawyn gone? Off to kill Rand? or hanging around TV like a lovesick uppt. Though to be fair Egwene hasn;t exactly treated him well.
Perrin/Galad/Morgase off screen - bit annoyed with that, does that mean we don't see it onscreen then?
That's it for now - bedtime. Will no doubt have a dozen more tomorrow
