Why did Mordin tell Rand that Balefire kills forsaken permanently? Does he want Rand to kill them off forever?
Haven't you read the books? He helped Rand kill Sammael, and all of the Forsaken plot to kill one another. He knows the Dark One can easily win without any Forsaken to help, and that each one who dies is one who can't betray or undermine Moridin.
