Gawyn was ok. He will now become Egwene's Warder and probably to to help Elayne in Caemlyn with the Younglings, yes.

However, there he should also eventually learn that Moragse was manipulated by Rahvin and that Rand killed Rahvin. Perrin, Galad & Moragse will likely also come to Caemlyn soon, so that Gawyn will overcome his hate of Rand.
