1. That thought actually crossed my mind, but I think the side of the Light doesn't do that sort of thing. Lucisam is incredibly creepy.

2. I think each of the three girls got an actual warder bond, so Rand is bonded equally by FOUR people. So if all his bondees were to merge, Alanna would have to be part of it and that's one too many.

3. Actually I think that relationship is monogamous since Rand is actually THREE people, one for each girl. You even know which girl is for whom: Elayne is obviously the reincarnation of Illyena, so for Lewis Therin; Min the philosopher of Light is for Morridin the philosopher of Shadow; and Aviendha the Aiel is for Rand the Aiel.
