A combination of Saidar and Saidin could be used to seal the bore, but it's important that these powers don't come into direct contact with the Dark One or they will be tainted. The True Power could therefore be used to create the buffer needed to keep them separate, rather than this being used to create the seal - a bit like the way Rand used Saidar to filter the taint off Saidin.
