Ok, good point. (Don't have my books with me so I can't check. I'll just trust you know what you're talking about)

Anyway, at that point they did believe that she was trustworthy, and not Black Ajah. Also, Alviarin is IIRC fairly strong which was another reason for those specific chanellers.
