I can't remember where this metaphor is from but it is apt in this situation: Mention a loaded gun in Chapter One, have it fired in Chapter Two, no one dies in Chapter Three.

In defence of Sanderson though, we do need build-up and a cliffhanger so... :P

I just wished they all didn't say her name so much.. it made me miss her more :moiraine:
