I think this book is the first ever to answer more questions than it introduced. Given your love of making theories, I would think you'd find that disconcerting as the series approached the end. I think that the missing subtlety may have been present even if RJ had been writing the book.


on all points. Seems the biggest debate is whether or not Graendal actually died, which mirrors how RJ has handled other Forsaken deaths.

I kinda figured there would be less fodder for theories when we got this far along, and we have seen the conclusions to several mysteries, so it's hard to be disappointed. In fact, I believe that BS is going to wrap up more loose ends than RJ intended to.
