More specifically, I miss Berelain with Rand. She was one of Rand's most trusted subordinates. Not only that, but she was a powerful female character who 1)Couldn't channel 2)Wasn't in love with Rand and 3)Didn't have that vaguely patronizing air towards men that most females in WoT tend to have.

Yes, the whole Perrin-Faile-Berelain thing was kind of interesting and entertaining, but we're done with that. That cast needs to get shaken up.

She was entertaining! And relatively angst-free! And hot!
