Because Tiana was just selected by the Salidar "Heads". Egwene might simply use the opportunity to install a new MoN she wants on her own after the unification of the WT (if the Hall isn't anyway at least to hear in this matter). That doesn't necessarily mean that Tiana was BA; also Silviana wasn't BA after all.
As others suggested, maybe Sharina will become the next MoN after she is raised to an AS.
