I agree about the foreshadowing; I thought that was a nice touch. My favorite storylines were teased out a great deal in this one, specifically Egwene's, so I'm not sure how the next book will sit. It depends on what happens in it, I suppose. 
I've always found both Jordan and Sanderson to be great writers, and I think we'll see a great deal of plot movement and excitement.
