Especially after Verin confronted Moiraine & Siuan in the beginning of TGH, and of course after Moiraine learned of Verin's lie that Moiraine sent her to Rand, Moiraine likely had the suspicion that Verin might very well be a BA. Maybe she also got some infos about her during her time in Rhuidean?
