Assuming the figurative blindness referred to in the closing prophecy of TGS has already come and gone with Rand's epiphany, it seems reasonable to assume that the blindness connected with the begger one may have as well. This isn't to say you're wrong, but I think a solid case could be made that all parts of this prophecy have already been fulfilled.
