Re: Ar-Pharazôn Fanatic-Templar Send a noteboard - 13/11/2009 11:52:34 PM

I'm somewhat amazed that you still believe that Shai'tan will be defeated by armies and channelers. He's a god, you know? Ishamael laughed in Rand's face when rand suggested that Shai'tan could be killed. This great slave army of Rand's would have been about as useful in destroying Shai'tan as the fleets of Ar-Pharazôn were at conquering Valinor.

Ar-Pharazôn would have succeeded. Which is why the Valar asked Eru to intervene. His army is so great that Eru did not destroy it. It awaits, submerged, for Dagor Dagorath, the Final Battle.

Maybe that's what Rand has to do. Awaken the army of Ar-Pharazôn the Golden. :P

Only the the King and the ones who set foot on Valinor were lost in the Caves of the Forgotten, the others drowned. And yeah, Ilúvatar did it, but it still counts, 'cause Manwë's the one who asked for a favour. It's all connections :P.

I loved Dark Rand. I agree, I wish he was around longer. Should've come out earlier in the series. Master Radishes - 13/11/2009 03:23:59 PM 790 Views

Reading about a saint is boring. Reading about an imperfect hero is exciting. Shannow - 13/11/2009 04:38:24 PM 683 Views
That's actually kind of shallow and limited Cannoli - 13/11/2009 05:07:55 PM 812 Views

I don't read for morality either, but IMO, it makes a better story because it is tougher Cannoli - 14/11/2009 12:08:14 AM 720 Views

You're right. But I'm very angry with the writers for portraying Egwene in such a positive way. Shannow - 13/11/2009 07:18:10 PM 744 Views
