It is the thing that causes lifespans to be shortened, after all. And she'd then have to live by the Aes Sedai oaths until she managed to get her hands on the rod again to remove them.

What I have always wondered is that the oath rod shortens the life span of an AS by about 1/2, so instead of a 600-700 year lifespan, they only ever hit about 250 to 300. But that is under the assumption that she will die. There is a finite amount of time of life.

As a Chosen, her lifespan has been extended and indefinitely. Assuming that the DO has come through with the promise of immortality for his Chosen, since the lifespan would be infinity, infinity divided in half would still be infinity.

If that is the case, then the effects of the OR would be negated down to just the Oaths themselves. And this is easily rectified by obtaining the Rod through normal means: pretend to be a Sitter, Compulsion or even if Egwene has had it uber-protected and guarded, kill them all and take it.

Either way, it wouldn't be a problem since she failed miserably at keeping the Tower broken to create chaos and stopping them from creating a unified effort to fight the darkside, she probably will end up being killed or under a mindtrap and given to Shaidar Haran as a play thing...
