The first is the Semirhage and Rand scene. I thought that was quite plain.
That really didn't make me pause at all. We knew Semi was done for anyway. The twist with the True Power was interesting, but not so "dramatic" or "intense" - I didn't for a second believe Shadar Haran was actually giving Semi "one more chance"
The much anticipated Rand/Graendal showdown on the other hand... well, that wasn't dramatic or intense either, but it did make me reread a few times.
So what was Jason talking about?
