I think it was alright BlackAdder Send a noteboard - 19/11/2009 12:26:57 PM
It's the shortest book in the series, which is great because it's mostly action-packed and less about political bickering/maneuvering.

It was also nice to see the human side of Moiraine. And Lan is... unstoppable as always, but somehow he thinks he shouldn't be? Found that a bit odd, how he considers himself inferior even though he's really not.

I loved seeing Elaida's early days as an antagonist of S&M, too.

Hmm... what else? Well, unfortunately no Bela. :P

Oh yeah, the ending. I thought it was pretty good, but it was rather dumb (IMO) for Moiraine to burn Merean's body like that to hide evidence of the BA. Seems like Moiraine (and maybe also RJ) just didn't want to deal with all the paperwork ;)

I think quite a few people didn't like it simply because it came between CoT and KoD - 19/11/2009 07:17:20 AM 644 Views

I like the comic book version better than the book. *NM* - 20/11/2009 04:48:07 AM 203 Views
