It also indicates that Mesaana isn't a woman in the WT who is often seen, like Laras, otherwise BS could hardly consider that we maybe haven't seen Mesaana on screen.

Maybe she is Danelle, after all, though it doesn't make much sense to me.



Good point there, obviously Sanderson wouldn't have forgot if it was a bigger name. So it is a minor character. Possibly Danelle, who used to be the popular choice.
