That the DO as the "ur-contro-freak" normally can't like this link between Rand and Moridin. Maybe the DO even won't allowe Moridin to use the TP anymore (which would be quite dramatic for Moridin, considering his addiction).
On the other hand, the DO might consider to let Moridn explore the link more, trying to determine if Moridin could kill or subdue Rand using the link (of course, this would likely lead to Moridin's death in the end).
Maybe Demandred will even get his chance to become Nae'blis then. He is the only Forsaken left, who apparently didn't really fail yet (except for preventing the Cleansing, but that was basically a failure of the whole Shadow-side), and has therefore still a high-standing.

What will be the punishment for Moridin for allowing Rand to do what he did?

Given that LTT was more scared of the TP than of killing Min, I doubt the DO didn't intend it. *NM*

How do we know it wasn't part of the DO's plan?

That presumes that Moridin KNEW that Rand could access the True Power through their link...

You're assuming that Rand channeled the TP through Moridin

The Shadow aka Moridin doesn't want Rand dead because he might die with him

I agree, I think the Dark One DID give Rand permission to use the TP

I thought Rand was so desperate that he reached the True Power alone.
