I have a pet theory that Lanfear's lost strength went to Moiraine, and Moiraine will be as strong as Cadsuane. This will allow both Moiraine and Cadsuane to have equal footing according to Tower customs, so that neither is shunned because of deference, and both help the Dragon Reborn.


A weird side-effect of the melting doorway ter'angreal, or why would such a power exchange happen?


Maybe Moiraine grabbed onto the angreal as she tackled Lanfear.

And maybe at that moment they shared the angreal much like Rand and Asmodean shared the Choedan Kal.

And maybe that had some kind of weird effect on their individual channeling strengths.
