"By the way, is General Galgan actually Demandred?"

Yes, he is. He is gathering armies, enrolling men from Tarabon, Amador, Altara and Almoth Plains, and deploying them against West. Semirhage is gone, what created a vacuum, because her task was political, not military one. Demandred is a general, but he perhaps can find proper proxy to directly influence Empress Fortuona, may she live forever.

It could be nice, if Rand, bowing to the Crystal Throne, will recognise Demandred behind mask of mirror and eliminate him, or Matrim (as a King of Raven?) will save his wife from Demandred's channeling, being able to do it with protection of his talisman.
