I think the 3 oaths involve more what you believe to be the truth than how you frame the statement. Think of it like an internal polygraph. How can you lie to yourself? It has nothing to do with whether someone will perceive what you say as a lie, but whether you perceive your own words as a lie. A psychiatrist bound by the 3 oaths couldn't question her way past the truth by answering a quetion with a question. An Aes Sedai bound by the 3 oaths cannot willingly lie, but knows that an omission isn't a lie.
