According to RJ the Light's only chance is that Rand will figure out how to beat the DO. Otherwise the DO's fist will crush mankind. I also seriously doubt that there will be a real military campaign at TG. It will be desperate fights of the Lightside against an overwhelming enemy; till the last lorn fight, where Mat has to call the Heroes of the Horn. It's Armageddon, not World War II.
