I estimate that I found about ten spelling or grammer mistakes in the book. Did anyone else find the same?
I'd love to give an example but I skipped over them, after briefly rolling my eyes.
but how many editors are willing to read through a 600+ page rough draft to correct punctuation, spelling and grammar? i've actually found that as time goes on, more and more books are coming up with mistakes. as if the authors are proof reading the manuscript with just a spell checker. it makes sure the words are spelled correctly, even if they're not the right word, or there are words missing, etc.

The book wasn't proof read very well

In my copy of LoC, men channel Saidar in stead of Saidin about two out of three times... Annoying. *NM*

Not a mistake. She's used that term before. IIRC, Winter's Heart, just after they arrive in Caemlyn. *NM*

Yes. The editor in me can't help but notice them. They weren't that numerous so I said nothing. *NM*
