He'd once suspected Semirhage, but later started leaning towards Graendal. At latest news, he disagreed with Graendal, Mordin and Slayer as suspects. He thinks it wasn't a crime of opportunity, and that Shai'tan ordered the assassination. Balefire was probably used, possibly True Power balefire. He said Shai'tan probably knew of Asmodean's death without the need of an important.
That the DO didn't order Asmo's death. That TP balefire was the murder weapon makes even less sense, IMO, than that OP balefire was used, especially if Moridin wasn't the killer. Semirhage tells in LoC that she doesn't know what happened to Asmo, by the way.
