The weave doesn't just cause pain, it causes agony like you can't describe. To place that weave on your own spouse would be torture enough to anyone who loves their spouse.

Semirhage was actually in the process of killing Min, but she drew it out like she was destined to do. Semirhage would have died eventually - she would have taken too long to kill Cadsuane and her friends until a knife would have landed up in her back.
