I think it was telling that in TGS we say nothing of Logain. Like wise the Aes Sedai from the Rebels should have been there and gone but no one had heard from them. I'm unclear how long Egwene was kept as a novice and when the Reds left to go to the BT as well but they seemed to have dropped off the radar as well.

Given that BS had to split the books into three and decided to keep the focus on Rand & Egwene and he has also said that the next book will cover a lot more plots I would not be surprised if we get to see the BT rent in blood and fire as the Rebel AS, the Tower AS and Logain all collide with Taim and his cronies.

It would dovetail nicely for the final book if after TGS we have the remains of the Black Ajah driven off, presumably to Shadow HQ. Perhaps in the next book we will have the darkfriend Asha'man likewise driven off. Then the last book will have the return to the front lines of the shadow armies of the BA and dark AM

I really do think there are a lot of missed opportunities for interesting characters overall. - 01/12/2009 03:31:15 PM 648 Views
I'd love, just once, to have a PoV from a wolf (Hopper). Is that too much to ask for in 14 books? *NM* - 02/12/2009 01:02:02 AM 257 Views
