The BT has been growing at a very fast pace.

I don't know the exact time difference between the report of 500 Ashaman to the time when Rand talks with Itrulde, but I think we are safe to assume that there are at least 100 new "soldiers" at the tower by that time. Maybe 200.

To the best of my knowledge, we once calculated that the BT needed to find 5 new channelers per day for it to support the growth rate from the start of LOC to the written report Taim send Rand in PoD.

Now count 40 to 60 days from WH to KoD and multiply that by 5 = that's 200 new recruits.

My guess anyways.
