I said Verin was the Lightfriend. And she is the ONLY Lightfriend of which there is any evidence, BTW. I simply said that Careane passed unnoticed among people who were actively looking for evidence that she WAS one (until she was outed by her sisters), in much the same way Verin probably did among the Black sisters who could probably never dream that someone was doing what she was. Ingtar was not nearly a good guy of Verin's caliber, and never mind the whole Aes Sedai issue. He deliberately chose the Shadow for the rewards offered and then looked for opportunities to save his ass from the consequences. He is NOT a tragic hero, a la Boromir, he is a reformed villain. So I was not calling him a Lightfriend, and the juxtaposition of his name with Cadsuane's is not naming her as one.
