We have seen black sisters murder other sisters; I'd say during the course of the series there have been at least 10 Aes Sedai deaths caused by the black Ajah- That's 1% of the total population of the tower killed by Darkfriends. Just imagine all the sisters who've been killed over the past, say, 200 years.
With the otherwise long lifespans of Aes Sedai, the murderous tendencies of the BA could easily bump them up a percentage point or two, even if they don't kill that frequently.
