So my comment is not a knock against the series - it's simply that for me, as a reader, my enjoyment comes out of reading it as casual reader versus being overly critical towards it. This is not a series that does well under close scrutiny, IMHO of course.
I agree with you on this point... there are far too many inconsistencies within the pages to really be able to put it under the microscope ... but IMO that's part of what makes it fun... being on message boards like this makes me realize how different people interpret the text so differently... I'm sometimes amazed that what I think is so obvious others can see in a totally conflicting manner!
