This further indicates that the theory that Cyndane's new small body is simply too weak for Lanfear's whole OP potential is correct.

I think genetics also plays a small role. The body of Cyndane is inferior and lacking because it is a body born in an inferior Age. Compare this to Mierin's original body, which was born in the AoL, an Age of miracles, longevity, and near-perfect health. Ie, genetic perfection, or close enough. Mierin's body was more than capable of housing her "spark", so to speak. Cyndane's is clearly too weak to be able to allow a larger conduit to the True Source.
